Although Janet was born and raised in Halifax , she spent 20 years in Antigonish, where she raised her two daughters, worked for the Federal Government, and was a part-time Realtor for Sceles Realty. Janet thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three beautiful grandchildren and, of course, Stanley , her grand-dog.

In the early1990’s Janet spent some time on assignment in British Columbia where she completed a 9 month Real Estate course. Then in 1995, she returned to Antigonish and took up where she left off in her career. In 2004 Janet retired from 30 years with the Federal Government, enabling her to finally make plans to step into a pair of full-time Realtor shoes . The chance to live closer to her family beckoned and in 2005 she relocated to the Halifax Regional Municipality where she became a Real Estate Sales Associate with Coldwell Banker and then with People Realty in Dartmouth. In 2006 Janet decided to go for the gusto and take her Real Estate Broker’s course and exam. Upon successful completion of this designation she assumed the duties of Associate Broker for the People Realty office in Cole Harbour .

In 2009, Janet decided to transfer to the Prudential Plus Realty office in Enfield . She is excited to work alongside new people and is looking forward to the opportunity to meet new clients and especially to making friends in the community.
